You will see the Georgian period New Town, the Old City, Royal Mile and Holyrood
Palace. Next up, the magnificent Edinburgh Castle. Stroll through the Great Hall, take
in the views from the Battery, and see the Stone of Destiny and the Scottish Crown
jewels. The balance of your evening is at leisure.
DAY 2 | EDINBURGH / DUNKELD / PITLOCHRY / INVERNESS
Depart Edinburgh this morning and begin your journey towards the Highlands.
Stop in the historic village of Dunkeld, set on the banks of the river Tay and
surrounded by hills and beautiful countryside and forests. Continue to the
picturesque town of Pitlochry and visit Blair Atholl Distillery. A tour of Blair Atholl
will give you an insight into the traditional art of malt whisky distilling. Next, visit
Dalwhinnie, the highest distillery in the country and closest to the source of the
River Spey. Arrive in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
DAY 3 | SPEYSIDE WHISKY REGION
Spend a whole day exploring Speyside, Scotland’s most famous whisky region. Drive
along the scenic coastline and stop at the family owned Benromach Distillery. It is
Speyside’s smallest distillery with only two distillers working at creating Benromach
using the finest Scottish barley and the spring water from the nearby Romach Hills.
Next visit Speyside Cooperage that produces the finest casks from the best American
Oak. The cooperage still uses the traditional methods and tools. See the highly skilled
coopers at work as they take you on a journey through the lifecycle of the cask. The
final stop of the day is at Cardhu Distillery. Cardhu is the most important whisky in
Johnnie Walker Black Label. Return to Inverness, where your evening is at leisure.
Overnight: Kingsmill Hotel
DAY 4 | INVERNESS / LOCH NESS / ISLE OF SKYE
This morning take the road to the Isles. As you travel, have your chauffeur make a stop
at Loch Ness so you can look for the elusive monster, Nessie. On to visit Eilean Donan
Castle, one of the most iconic and well-recognized place in Scotland. The castle is
situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet and is surrounded
by majestic scenery. Cross Loch Alsh via the Skye Bridge and begin your island
experience. The balance of your evening is at leisure.
DAY 5 | ISLE OF SKYE SIGHTSEEING
Take in the spectacular views of the Cuillin Mountains, lochs and cliffs, and see
traces of prehistoric and medieval people as you head out today. Discover the
history of the Highlands and Islands through the story of Clan Donald at Armadale
Castle. You might also want to stroll through its woodland garden with lawns,
terraced walks, ponds, and a colorful profusion of flowers. Stop to visit Dunvegan
Castle, standing on the shores of Loch Dunvegan. The oldest continuously inhabited
castle in Scotland, it has been the ancestral home of the Chiefs of Clan MacLeod for
more than 800 years. Explore the castle and wander through its five acres of formal
gardens. Next, visit the Talisker Whisky Distillery, the only distillery on the Isle of
Skye. Take a tour to see the copper pot stills and oak casks, then, after learning the
process of whisky making, enjoy a wee dram of their award-winning single malt.
DAY 6 | ISLE OF SKYE / FORT WILLIAM
After a leisurely morning, drive to Armadale and take the ferry to Mallaig. Journey
from the port town of Mallaig to Fort William, taking in the stunning scenery along the

little town set at the foot of Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
DAY 7 | FORT WILLIAM / EDINBURGH
Travel through the beautiful valley of Glencoe, site of the infamous 1692 massacre
when the MacDonalds were killed by the Campbells. On a much happier note, this
is also where part of the filming of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”
took place. Spend as much time as you wish enjoying the scenery, and then on
to sparkling Loch Lomond for a cruise. This afternoon, visit Glengoyne Distillery
